Keywords: Discovery and Word Cloud

Understanding the most frequently used words across your data

The Keywords feature provides an instant understanding of trending or recurring words within your data. It analyses the text from video transcripts, written captions, notes, and comments uploaded by your respondents.

Using the Keyword Filter

The Keyword filter generates the top 100 trending words based on the search/filters you have currently set.

  1. Set your desired filters in the main toolbar (e.g., Project and Task).

  2. Click on the Search icon (magnifying glass) to run the initial search.

  3. Click on the 'Keywords' filter in the toolbar to display the top 100 words based on your filters.

  4. Select one or more Keywords from the filter drop-down.

  5. Choose the Search Type:

    • Select “OR” for responses that have at least one of the selected keywords.

    • Select “AND” for responses that contain all of the selected keywords.

  6. Click the Search icon again to apply the Keyword filter.

Reviewing Highlighted Keywords

Once filtered, the selected keywords will be highlighted in the search results:

  • In Text: Keywords are highlighted in the written Captions and Notes.

  • In Transcripts: A number will appear over the 'Transcript' button. Click in to see the words highlighted in orange, and use the arrows to skip between appearances.

You can export the data from the Word Cloud view:
