Managing Applicants: Inviting, Scheduling, and Next Steps
Once qualified, applicants appear in your Recruitment dashboard for you to review. From there, you can choose to invite them to join your Indeemo project.
Reviewing and Qualifying Applicants
As soon as an applicant completes your screener, they'll pop up in the Applicants view on your Indeemo Dashboard. From here, you can see all your potential participants, whether they technically qualified or not.
To see a single applicant's screener answers and profile details, just click 'View'. Want to compare multiple applicants? Click 'Download Respondents' to get a .csv file of everyone's answers. This can make it easier to track your quotas!
Applicant Statuses
All applicants show up in your list, whether they technically qualified or not. Remember, applicants aren't told whether they qualified, so you get to decide who makes the cut.
-
If an applicant is qualified, you'll see a green 'Qualified' button and a pink 'Invite' button.
-
If an applicant is not qualified, you'll see a gray 'Not Qualified' button and a pink 'Qualify' button. If you decide you want to invite them anyway, just click that button first!
To disqualify an applicant, click the three dots on the right side of their row and select 'Disqualify.' A box will pop up asking why. The platform will then go out and find a new person in their place. We recommend doing this for anyone you're sure you don't want, so the platform can keep recruiting new people for you!
Inviting to an Indeemo App / In-the-Moment Project
Before you invite anyone, make sure your project is all set up. This means your task list and Opt-in Consent PDF must be ready to go.
Here's how to invite applicants:
-
On the Applicants dashboard, find a qualified applicant and click the Invite button.
-
In the pop-up, select the Project and the specific Target Group for this person.
-
Review and customize the invitation message with any special instructions.
-
Click Send Invite.
The applicant's status will change to Invited. They will receive an email and a notification prompting them to register for your project.
Report an Applicant
You can anonymously report a participant for misrepresenting themselves or providing false information.
This participant will not appear in future projects with your team or organization, and their account may be subject to disciplinary action by Respondent, which may include suspension or permanent account removal.
To report a respondent:
-
Click the '...' button on the right side of the user's row and select 'Report'.
-
A box will pop up asking why you want to report them.
-
Choose from the dropdown and add the reason for reporting.
-
Click 'Report Respondent'.
The respondent will not be made aware that they have been reported, and they will disappear from your list of applicants.
Important: If this participant has already joined your project, you'll also need to go to the Respondents view and remove them from your project.
Contact support@indeemo.com if you'd like assistance.
When to Cancel an Invite or Mark as 'No-Show'
Sometimes, things don't go as planned. If an applicant doesn't sign up or participate, you have a few options:
-
Cancel an Invite: You can do this by clicking 'Cancel Invite' next to the applicant's name. This removes the invitation, and their status on your dashboard will go back to 'Pending.' You can re-invite them again from the dashboard if you want!
-
Mark as 'No-Show': If a respondent doesn't sign up or begin their tasks, you can mark them as a 'No-Show' by clicking the three dots on their row. The applicant gets a notification, and their status will change to 'No-Show' for tracking purposes. If they have already registered for the project, you must delete them from the 'Respondents' view as well. If you need to re-invite them later, you'll need to contact Indeemo Support.
Hide an Applicant
You can also use the 'Hide' option to tidy up your Applicants view without affecting their status. Just click the three dots on the right side of the user row and select 'Hide'.
This simply removes them from your list and does not disqualify them. You can show them again at any time using the 'Visible' filter.
