Removing or Deleting Participants from Your Project
Steps and important consequences for deleting a participant before and after they have registered or submitted content.
You can remove participants from your project, but the process and consequences depend on their registration and upload status.

Before Participant Registers:

On the Respondents view, hover over the participant's email and click the trash can icon. The participant is completely removed from the system.

After Participant Registers or Begins Uploading:

If you use the delete option (trash can icon), they will be fully removed from the system, and all of their submitted uploads will be deleted, and cannot be recovered. They would need to re-register to rejoin.

Best Practice: Always communicate to the participant that you are removing them prior to taking this action.
