Due to local restrictions, the Indeemo mobile app is no longer available in mainland China. Instead, participants will access your project exclusively via the Indeemo’s mobile website for participants: https://web.indeemo.com/.
This website is fully localised to Chinese (Simplified) and can be accessed via a participant’s phone or desktop browser.

Recruitment & Smartphone Requirements

Access Requirement: Participants should access the project via their smartphone browser.

Screen for Tech Savviness: We advise screening for general tech savviness (e.g., "Do you use WeChat or TikTok?"). If they are familiar with similar mobile platforms, they will have no problem using the Indeemo website.

The localised ‘Respondent Email Template’ used for inviting participants from the 'Respondents' view of your Indeemo dashboard has been updated specifically for China. It will automatically guide participants to the mobile website address instead of the app.
Managing Participants & Communication
Activity Tracking
The "Last Upload" and "Last Reminder" columns in your dashboard function as normal, providing real-time activity and team coordination data.
Notifications, Comments, Reminders
Since push notifications are unavailable via the mobile web, all crucial notifications-including new tasks, moderator comments, and reminders- will be sent to the participants’ registered email addresses.

Platform Localisation: The mobile website is localised to Chinese (Simplified) for the participant interface.

Dashboard Tools: Automated Video Transcription and translations (if enabled on your project) are available for you as normal, on responses that appear on your Indeemo Dashboard.
