Internal Review Tools: Starred and Notes

Tools for Moderators to track and organize their analysis

These features are valuable tools for moderators to organize and track their personal review of responses.

Starred: Marking and Tracking Responses

The Starred feature allows you to mark responses for quick retrieval or tracking.

  • Important: Only you will see your Starred posts. Other moderators will not see the uploads you have Starred.

How to Star Responses

  1. Click on the grey star icon next to the date and time stamp of an upload to mark it as Starred (it will turn pink).

  2. Click on the pink star again to remove the Star.

Filtering by Starred Status

Use the 'Starred' filter in the main toolbar to quickly find the posts you've marked:

  • Select 'Yes' to view only your starred responses.

  • Select 'No' to view responses you have not yet starred.

Notes: Adding Private Researcher Observations

The Notes section is an internal-only tool for adding private commentary, translations, or detailed observations to an entry.

  • Important: You and your fellow Moderators can see the content in the Notes section.

How to Add Notes

  1. Click on the 'Notes' button on the card or navigate to the 'Note' tab.

  2. Click on 'Add Notes' and type in your content.

  3. Click 'Save' when finished.

Pro-Tip: Since there is currently no dedicated 'Note' filter, we recommend creating a "Note" Tag and assigning this tag to any upload where you've added a Note. This allows you to easily filter and review all responses that contain your internal commentary.
